Welcome to the West Barnstable Civic Association!
We are a non-partisan civic organization founded by volunteers. We pledge to represent the people of West Barnstable in working for the betterment of our community, to provide a forum for discussion and a means to address matters of civic concern, to promote timely and informative communication, and to perpetuate good relationships. We appreciate and are proud to work with town officials, other village and civic associations, Meetinghouse Farm, 1717 Meetinghouse, the Whelden Memorial Library, Luke’s Love Playground, the West Barnstable Historical Society, and the West Barnstable Fire Department.
Our mission is to strengthen our diverse community socially, culturally and economically by promoting civic engagement, preserving the historic character of our village, protecting our open spaces and supporting our local businesses.
Each year the WBCA funds and awards scholarships to college bound West Barnstable students, and publishes three issues of the Cornerstone Newsletter. In addition, the Spaghetti Supper, Flag Day Ceremony, the Fourth of July Parade followed by festivities at the Hollow (partnered with the Barnstable Village Association), the Village Festival, and the Village Tree Lighting are all made possible by the dues, contributions and volunteers. Your membership enables us to serve our village and its residents in many important ways and we Thank You!
Please join us as we continue our advocacy and commitment for our village.
