Volunteer

If you enjoy invigorating physical work,
volunteer at the Farm
to clear brush, remove invasives and
prune trees and shrubs.

Volunteers are also needed for garden prep, planting, maintenance, and

harvesting.  Non-gardening tasks; including business plan development, fundraising,  and

computer support are also available.

The Mission —

The mission of Meetinghouse Farm is to foster community horticultural and agricultural values and practices.

 Meetinghouse Farm will work to provide programs that
inspire and motivate children and adults to work with nature
in the healthy cultivation of gardens and farms,
while protecting the environment

Our Goals —

Model and teach sustainable horticultural and agricultural techniques.

 Provide programs and resources for a wide variety of user groups.

Create an aesthetic and peaceful environment for contemplation and reflection.

Utilize sustainable “green” techniques and technology
for the repair and operation of the Farm.

Communicate and collaborate with local green industries.

Support the Barnstable Conservation Commission’s goals for
the Meetinghouse Farm Conservation Area.

What is Meetinghouse Farm?

Meetinghouse Farm includes approximately 23 acres of
rolling woodland and open fields. 

 A 3,000 sq. ft. greenhouse and three structures require improvements
for future programs and activities.

Meetinghouse Farm, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that manages Meetinghouse Farm with the support of the Town of Barnstable and the
Barnstable Conservation Commission.

Farm is located on Route 149 on the north side of Route 6 near the historic
1717 Meetinghouse in the Village of West Barnstable in the Town of Barnstable.
